Many of our products are suitable during pregnancy, but we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider before introducing new skincare during pregnancy or breastfeeding — especially products containing essential oils such as cedarwood, sandalwood or eucalyptus. Our aloe vera, calendula and shea-based formulas are generally considered among the gentlest options available. Because our products are freshly handmade without synthetic preservatives, they have a shelf life of 6–12 months unopened and 3–6 months once opened, depending on the product. Oils have the longest shelf life. Water-based products like mists and washes should be used within 3–4 months of opening. Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to extend their life. Each batch is made fresh — you will always receive a product with maximum shelf life remaining.

Some of our products contain shea butter (derived from the shea tree nut) and coconut oil — which may be a concern for those with specific nut allergies. Please read the full ingredient list for each product carefully before use. If you have a severe nut allergy we recommend consulting your healthcare provider and performing a patch test before use. You can also contact us directly and we will advise on which products are free from specific allergens.

Great question — and an important one. Any skincare product that contains water must contain a preservative system, or it will grow bacteria, mould and yeast within days. This is a safety requirement, not a shortcut. We use only globally approved, skin-safe preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin — at the minimum effective concentration required. These are widely accepted in natural and organic cosmetics and are significantly safer than the alternatives. We never use parabens or formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches, please allow 1–3 business days for your order to be prepared, packaged and dispatched. We take great care with every order — from wrapping each product to placing your thank you card and botanical sprig. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order leaves us.

We take packaging very seriously — especially for glass products. Every glass bottle is individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then in tissue paper, then nestled in crinkle paper within your branded box. The branded box is then sealed and placed inside a waterproof poly mailer for transit protection. We have carefully designed our packaging to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. In the rare event that something arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo and we will resolve it immediately.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel in real time. If you don't receive this email within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder first — then contact us at hello@dreamglowrituals.com.au and we will look into it for you straight away.

Our parcels are sent via Australia Post or a comparable courier. If you are not home at the time of delivery, your parcel will either be left in a safe location at the driver's discretion, or a card will be left with instructions to collect from your nearest post office. We recommend adding an Authority to Leave instruction at checkout if you'd like the parcel left without a signature.

We begin processing orders quickly — often within hours of receiving them. We will do our absolute best to accommodate your request before the order is dispatched. Once an order has been shipped we are unfortunately unable to cancel or modify it.

Due to the personal nature of skincare and hygiene products, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items — this is both a hygiene requirement and a consumer protection measure. However, if your product arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we will offer a full replacement or refund with no questions asked. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number and a photo of the issue and we will take care of you immediately.

First — discontinue use immediately and rinse the affected area thoroughly with cool water. If the reaction is severe please seek medical attention.
